ABOUT THE VILAFORTUNY
In 2017, Dr Kathrin Trelles teamed up with her father, the world renowned professor and Plastic Surgeon, Dr Mario Trelles to tailor his European based medical instructional programs for the UAE and Middle East region..
The Dubai government has introduced new regulations requiring all medical practitioners to attain continuous education privileges and logs to upgrade and renew or obtain a practicing license.
Moreover, the use of aesthetic treatments in beauty, dentistry and cosmetic surgery has increased ten-fold in the last few years, the number of specialist and qualified training centres in Dubai continue to remain limited
Practitioners often have to travel abroad to advance their knowledge. Meanwhile, the government is tightening up regulations to ensure practitioners are certified and are abreast of industry practices through enforcement of further education
Training Centre Facilities
The Training Centre has been designed to conduct single or multiple days courses and it can be customized to fit training needs and requirements. It is equipped with the latest audio visual training tools and it accommodates up to 24 participants per session.
We offer our own customised programs or rent our facilities to professional organisations wishing to conduct courses.
As well, we provide the necessary AV equipment to assist the Speaker/Trainer during the course, as follows:
- Samsung 95-inch 16:9 format professional display with edge LED and full high-definition (FHD)
- HDMI and VGA connectivity in the podium
- Wolf Vison Visualizer/Document camera – High resolution, true to life colour and high frame rate capture.
- Stereo-audio input in the podium (3.5mm stereo jack)
- Shure ceiling microphone – for the dental room communicatio
- Bose high performance, full range, intelligible music and speech reproduction ceiling mount speakers
- Crestron 8.7” touch screen for system control
Fortunately, Vilafortuny is an accredited institution by the KHDA & (DHA), providing certification of professionals to achieve credit points (CPD / CME) as part of the continuous education requirement.
Vilafortuny’s training centre is a learning environment dedicated to continuous education for medical practitioners in aesthetics and dentistry, beauty treatments with machines and products, dermatology, plastic surgery and bespoke healthcare programs that are topical in the market.
The centre provides a range of curriculums to accommodate various levels of basic to advanced levels, in the specified fields.”
The clinic’s training centre maintains the same high-tech and professional standards as the clinical practice does. Both Vilafortuny practitioners and accredited doctors are invited to conduct courses in the training centre.
