These Terms and Conditions govern participation in all courses, workshops, and training programmes provided by Vilafortuny Training Centre (“VFT”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By registering for or attending any course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Registration and Payment
1.1 Registration for any course or workshop is deemed valid only once full payment has been received by Vilafortuny Training Centre.
1.2 Course places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed until payment confirmation has been issued.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Cancellations made 14 days or more before the scheduled start date of the workshop are eligible for a 50% refund of the course fee.
2.2 Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are not eligible for any refund.
2.3 Failure to attend a course without prior written notice (“no-show”) will result in no refund.

2.5 Any applicable refunds will be processed using the original payment method and within a reasonable administrative timeframe.
3. Course Attendance and Examinations
3.1 Participants are expected to attend all required sessions to be eligible for course completion and certification.
3.2 If a candidate fails the examination for a Laser Course, the candidate must:
- Re-apply for the examination
- Pay a re-examination fee of AED 1,000
- Retake the examination on a scheduled future date
4. Certification Policy
4.1 Certificates of completion are issued one time only.
4.2 If a certificate is lost, damaged, or misplaced, a replacement certificate may be issued upon request and subject to a replacement fee of AED 1,000.
4.3 Vilafortuny Training Centre reserves the right to verify identity and course completion before issuing any replacement certificate.
5. Data Sharing with Course-Related Vendors
5.1 By enrolling in a course, participants acknowledge and agree that limited contact details may be shared with vendors directly involved in the delivery of the training.
5.2 Such vendors may include, but are not limited to:
- Laser device manufacturers
- Cosmetic and aesthetic companies
- Pharmaceutical companies
- Medical equipment and technology providers
5.3 Shared information is limited to professional, educational, or course-related purposes only.
6. Photography, Video Recording, and Media Use
6.1 By attending a course, you authorise Vilafortuny Training Centre to take photographs and video recordings during training sessions.
6.2 You grant permission for such images and recordings to be used, at the discretion of Vilafortuny Training Centre, for purposes including but not limited to:
- Medical lecturing and professional education
- Scientific research or publication
- Patient education
- Marketing, promotional materials, and social media
- Promotion of future courses and training programmes
6.3 No financial compensation shall be payable for the use of such imagery.
7. Electronic Communications and Messaging Consent
By registering for a course, submitting an enquiry, or providing your contact details via our website or forms, you expressly consent to receive communications from Vilafortuny Training Centre via:
- SMS / text messages
- Automated or system-generated messaging platforms
These communications may include:
- Course confirmations and reminders
- Schedule changes or operational updates
- Examination and certification information
- Regulatory or compliance-related notices
- Marketing or informational messages related to our training programmes (where applicable)
You confirm that:
- You are the authorised user of the contact details provided
- You have voluntarily opted in to receive such communications
- Message frequency may vary

8. Regulatory and Licensing Disclaimer
8.1 Vilafortuny Training Centre provides education and training based on the health regulations, professional guidelines, and licensing frameworks in force at the time the course is delivered.
8.2 Vilafortuny Training Centre accepts no responsibility or liability for:
- Any changes, updates, amendments, or reinterpretations of health regulations
- Any decisions made by health authorities, licensing bodies, or regulators (including but not limited to DHA, DOH, or equivalent authorities)
- Any impact such regulatory changes may have on a participant’s ability to practise, obtain, renew, or maintain professional licensure
8.3 Completion of a course does not guarantee regulatory approval, licensing, or scope-of-practice authorisation.
8.4 It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure compliance with all current and future regulatory requirements applicable to their professional practice.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Clinical application of any techniques taught during training is undertaken entirely at the participant’s own professional responsibility.
9.2 Vilafortuny Training Centre shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in any course.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
