OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES:
Pigment Camouflage is commonly used today for corrective procedures for Burns, Scars, Vitiligo and skin deficiencies resulting from natural conditions, injury or post-surgery. Micro-pigmentation processes that use pigment to change the colour of an area of skin, allowing it to blend together with the surrounding skin. The techniques used have added advantages of breaking up scar tissue and loosening cross-linked collagen (scars) to improve movement and skin tone.
Permanent makeup correction – With so many different styles, brands and quality of treatments, it is good news that permanent make-up can be corrected for shape and colour. Using only the best pigments, you can avoid the change of colour that often creates bluish, orange and green shades, and correct the previous work implemented with sharper and more desirable outcomes for your clients.
Melanocyte Restoration (Vitiligo) – Using micro needling techniques, even complex conditions can be addressed. Melanin is the pigment that gives our skin its colour and it is produced naturally by cells called Melanocytes in our skin. A lack of melanin resulted in the skin displaying lighter patches. Melanocyte restoration procedures involve the use of skin needling to stimulate melanocytes, which in turn produce melanin. This process helps the treated areas to blend in with the rest of the patient’s.
